Cora loves...........
She is completely fascinated by trying them on, the different styles....she is in love. And so Jesse thought we should have a party that revolved around shoes. And what a great idea by her Daddy!
We even had a shoe station where her friends could try on different shoes or wear different shoes for the day. The 2 year old girls were in heaven!
Yes, we have a lot of shoes. Some of these are for future ages, some are Asher's and part of it is because Cora really likes shoes and so does her Mama.
We had Cupcakes.....
With flip flops and cowboy boots as toppers.
We played outside and we even had a shoe relay....
We did a craft....that I didn't get a picture of.....we traced all the kids' feet and had them decorate their shoes turning them into faces complete with googly eyes and feather for hair!
The kids loved the craft.
Cora loves crafts....and she loves chap stick and sometimes its confusing when chap stick and glue sticks look alike.
And it's hard when Mama helps other kids.
Presents were a hit! This card sang and Cora won't stop playing it! I love her face here.
I love how Hunter is helping her here. He was so excited about the present he picked for Cora!..SHOES!
Asher was so attentive to his sister all day. He is so kind.
After presents all the kids had an impromptu dance party!
Cora loved doing the birthday song....she sang along and couldn't believe the celebration was for her!
*She got this apron and hat set as a gift. She hasn't taken it off since the party. She was devastated when she couldn't sleep in it.

The kids took home Party favors after a successful shoe themed party. What a fun day for my sweet girl!

I am SO glad that Cora had such a wonderful day! The apron and hat look great on her! She is such a sweet little girl, growing and evolving into her little unique self! oh and don't worry... I'll teach her everything she needs to know about shoes, shirts, dress and galore! kiss her sweeet birthday cheeks for me!!

We are doing the same thing for our little girl who is turning 2 March 2nd and it also was my husband's idea. Thanks for the tips:)
